New Release! Everyday Stories Templates

It's Thursday and time for new releases at Design House Digital!  This week I bring you six simple and clean templates that will make capturing your memories a breeze!  With slightly rounded corners and a kraft paper overlay, these attractive templates have already done the layout planning for you.  Add pictures and journaling to complete them!  You can also use journaling cards, digital papers and embellishments to make them your own.  The paper border can be used as a mask or removed entirely!  You can decide as the layered PSD template has you set up to customize them as you wish.  By rotating and flipping them, the six templates give you a lot more than you bargained for.  It's a great way to quickly complete an album.

I know these are going to come in handy for me!  As much as I love putting together a full page with artistic beauty I just cannot keep up.  Two kiddos is keeping me busy but I'm not willing to let these wonderful memories pass by without recording them!  I hope you can find them useful as well!

You can snag Template 1 for FREE and play along with the May Photo Journal Challenge!

New Release! Boy Things

Happy International Scrapbooking Day!  I hope you are finding lots of fun celebrations and events to take part in. I know there are several things going on at Design House Digital, so please stop by and enjoy the fun!  The entire site is also 30% off so take a look at the goodies in shop too while you are there.
I am very excited to bring you my newest collection of scrapbooking and hybrid crafting goodies!  I have two little boys and they are so very busy!  It's been interesting to watch how they are just drawn to certain things - boy things - and now our house is littered with them.  Boy Things is a bit more than my average collection so I'm calling it a MEGA COLLECTION.  Sounds exciting, right?  Well, I think it is!
And what can you find in this MEGA COLLECTION?  You will find several themed kits which all coordinate to some basic papers and basic element packs.  This gives you the flexibility to mix and match to create a collection that you love.  Or you can just get it all knowing you will have a huge stash of coordinated papers and elements to work with.  All you need to do is look for the boy theme logo in my shop and you'll know it's a match!

The first theme that is in store today is THINGS THAT GO! and features all those lovely vehicles your little boys adore - cars, trains, trucks, diggers, and dump trucks!  Filled with funny signs, great word art, and whimsy hand-illustrated vehicles, this will be the perfect kit for documenting your little fellow's!

You can continue expanding upon this kit to create your own collection with the basic papers.  This set includes twenty papers!  There are 10 solid, distressed and textured papers, as well as, color coordinating simple chevrons and herringbone in gray, aqua, blue, mustard yellow, and orange.
For elements you will find a frame pack filled with stitched paper frames and wooden veneer frames.  Also, a pack of twelve tapes.  And finally, a mix 'n match element set containing 46 elements (some recolors) including: stitches, buttons, labels, tags, eyelets, stars, and banners.

With this grouping, you should be able to find the items that fit your style!
Keep checking back for Thursdays in May where I will release additional items that coordinate with this MEGA Collection.  Hmmm...what do you think will be the next theme?  One lucky person who comments with their guess will win this entire MEGA collection FOR FREE!!

Welcome May! New House Party and Freebie!

May has arrived and hopefully the warm weather will come with it! It has been a long, long winter here in Wisconsin.  I've been inside with a newborn and toddler for WAY too long now and we are all ready to get outside and get moving!  Dear Sunshine, please find us!

First, I want to remind you that Design House Digital has a site-wide 30% sale going on right now and lots of other activities to celebrate International Scrapbooking Day.  Be sure to swing by and see what is going on.  New releases are coming out each day this week as part of the celebration. I'm excited to share my new release with you on Saturday, May 4th.  Here's a hint - it's going to be perfect for little boys!  Yeah, I may just have some insight on what they like. ;) wink, wink.

Next, as with the start of every month, it's time for the Design House Digital House Party Releases.  Our house party is a site-wide collaboration where designers pick a color scheme and all create with that and a general theme in mind.  This way you can mix and match and build a collection containing all or just some of the items. It's a great way to stretch a kit!  Our theme this month was romantic and I've got two paper packs and a journal card set called "Our Story."  Make sure you remember to document who you  love in your life - your other half, you kiddos, your grandkids, friends, pets, etc.  This cheery, spring time color palette should help get you in the mood.

The papers are lightly distressed and the journal cards are available as both .png files and a printable PDF!

For inspiration, our site decorators have created an inspiration blog hop to show case how you can work with these great kits!  Stop by the DHD Blog for more details.

Finally, it's time for another Facebook timeline cover freebie!  You can grab this one as either a .png file or a layered .PSD file.  Simply add your photos and save it as a JPEG to upload to your Facebook account.
